A signing ceremony held on Friday, November 3rd marked a pivotal moment as the Director of CAAM-HP, the Minister of Education, and the Minister of Health signed a crucial agreement in the presence of AUSOMA representatives.
Over the past three years, AUSOMA has demonstrated unwavering dedication to achieving high educational standards and exceeding regulatory requirements despite the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. The institution’s commitment is reflected in strategic investments, including enhancements to Campus Facilities and the introduction of new academic resources such as the AMBOSS Medical Knowledge platform.
The signed agreement, a result of meticulous efforts and collaboration, certifies CAAM-HP as the recognized accreditation body for Aruban medical schools, paving the way for an official site visit in the first quarter of 2024. This development marks a key milestone in AUSOMA’s pursuit of accreditation, showcasing its commitment to academic quality.

AUSOMA remains steadfast in its commitment to achieving accreditation expeditiously, concurrently working towards accreditation with ACCM while progressing through Stage 2 of the ACCM accreditation process. Throughout this journey, AUSOMA emphasizes that its students will remain eligible for ECFMG Certification, USMLE exams, and the Match beyond 2024.
