Additional Fees
- AMBOSS USMLE Step 1 review: $999 – one time fee (2 year access)
- Malpractice fee (72 weeks of clinical rotations, charged in two payments): $2,400
- Immigration student visa processing one-time fee: $350
- Immigration deposit one-time fee (Aruba Government): $500-$2600 (based on citizenship)
- NBME comprehensive examination fees, charged per semester: $250 for each exam (CBSE and CCSE)
- Transportation Fee: Students will be charged a transportation fee of $300/semester (AUSOMA provides shuttle service for students. This fee is optional if a student decides to use the shuttle. The shuttle picks up at two times between Monday – Friday 7:30am and 3:30pm.)
- Medical test one-time fee: $168 (The medical test is paid by the student when they arrive to the island.)

- Basic Medical Sciences per credit fee (less than 12 credits): $350 per credit
- Premedical Sciences per credit fee (less than 12 credits): $250 per credit

- Credit card or debit card processing fee: 3% service charge per transaction
- Credit card decline fee: $100
- Check bounce fee: $100
- Late tuition payment fee: $250 after 1st week of classes
- Leave of absence extension fee: $500 per month (after initial 6 months of leave of absence)
- School ID replacement fee: $50
- Readmittance fee: $500
Student Health Insurance: Students are required to show of proof health insurance for up to one year before entering the island. After a student receives their Aruban student visa, they will receive insurance provided by the government free of charge.

AUSOMA offers an interest free monthly payment plan to assist with your tuition payments. Total tuition and fees are divided into monthly payments, which will be processed automatically to a credit card on file. Each semester will have a $250 processing fee.
