Clinical Medicine Program (CMP) for Medical Graduates
If you are a current or recently graduated MD or MBBS Student and planning to apply for a residency in the US:
- You should do 4-12 weeks of elective rotations of your choice in ACGME approved Hospitals in the U.S.
- Our program is designed to prepare you to become a knowledgeable, skillful, compassionate and dutiful physician.

Tuition & Fees
- Hospital Fees: $1,000.00 per week
- Malpractice insurance: $500.00 per 4 weeks
There is no application fee and USMLE Step 1 is required
Application Requirements
- Must be an MD/MBBS 3rd, 4th, or 5th year student, OR Current graduate
- Current official medical school transcripts
- Deans letter from current medical school requesting elective rotations with discipline name and duration
- Complete application with background check
- Current Passport
- Current physical exam with all the immunizations and TB test
Application Process
- Online application
- Submission of the required documents
- Submission of 8 passport size photos
- Submission of Hospital fees and malpractice insurance fees
- Personal phone Interview with the Clinical staff
- Clinical rotations will be scheduled
- Receiving 2 acceptance letters: one from AUSOMA and one from the Clinical site
- Applying for US Visa and once received, a copy should be sent to AUSOMA
- Travel plans
