The mission of AUSOMA

The mission of AUSOMA is to provide high-quality cost-conscious medical education with cutting-edge technology and a student-friendly learning environment. It aims to provide an educational curriculum to meet the demands of a changing market with ever-increasing competitiveness. The Library provides materials print and non-print to support the mission of the University.

The AUSOMA Library and is open five days a week during school hours 8-4pm. Areas within the library are designated as quiet study areas and group study rooms are available. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. The library has access to desktop computers and printers.

Faculty and students have access to textbooks and biomedical eBooks, databases, clinical knowledge- bases, and eJournals.

Featured resources include:

  • eBook collections: AccessMedicine
  • Clinical Knowledge-bases: UpToDate, DynaMed
  • Specialized databases: Bates Visual Guide to Physical Examination, Acland’s Visual Atlas of the Human Body. New England Journal of Medicine All of these information resources including textbooks that are needed for AUSOMA courses are available to students with log on information thru the AUSOMA Library online learning management system.
