Pursuing a medical degree is a significant financial investment. At the American University School of Medicine Aruba (AUSOMA), we are dedicated to supporting our applicants and students with the information and resources needed to help finance their education. From medical school loans to scholarships, AUSOMA provides guidance on a range of financial aid options to help make your medical education more accessible and manageable.
At the American University School of Medicine Aruba (AUSOMA), financial aid is available to all eligible students to help bridge the gap between the cost of attendance and your personal or family resources. Most AUSOMA students finance their education through a combination of family support, institutional loans, scholarships, and other available funding sources. Our goal is to help you access the financial resources you need to pursue your medical degree with confidence.

Students who are accepted to AUSOMA—and those maintaining satisfactory academic progress—may be eligible to apply for financial aid through institutional or private loan programs. These resources are available to help cover both direct and indirect* costs associated with earning your medical degree.
All applicants who meet the criteria for admission to AUSOMA will be considered for all available medical school scholarships available by selection. Applicants will be considered based on documentation provided as part of their medical school application.
