Dr. Tiara Calvo León is an experienced medical educator with over 20 years of teaching, student affairs leadership, and curriculum development experience in the basic sciences. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the Universidad Internacional de las Américas in Costa Rica, where she also completed extensive clinical training across internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, and multiple subspecialties. Dr. Calvo León has served as Associate Dean of Student Affairs, chaired multiple academic departments, and has taught a wide range of courses including Physiology, Pathology, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Skills, and USMLE preparation.
